These assessments are an objective way of determining an employee's capacity for a specific task. The assessments can be tailored to ensure the information gathered is relevant to the needs of the referrer.
This assessment can include measurements of the employee's lifting capacity from and to various heights, carrying (both unilateral and bilateral), walking, climbing (including stairs and ladders) and postural tolerances (such as sitting, standing, kneeling).
This assessment can be used as a pre employment screening tool, to determine the current capacity of a worker or to determine the current capacity of an injured worker to assist in providing appropriate suitable duties.
